Haven't done stats for a while, but now that I have a functional PC I can start getting more involved again and do more to boost the activity. With MMOs making a strong comeback this year I think it's time we revived the guild aspect of the community and started playing online together again - with any luck we'll be able to get back some of our older members and hopefully bring in some new ones, and see a dramatic improvement over these stats in the coming months. - An average of 22.5 people visited the site every day, though most were likely either bots or random people coming in via Google.
- Just 7 new threads were created over April.
- 111 posts appeared, which is surprisingly decent considering the lack of activity. An average of 3.7 posts appeared each day with the highest number being 20 on the 23th, and no posts at all appearing on the 6th, 8th, 9th, 14th, and every day after the 25th.
- No new members this month.

August stats done! Analytics has an awesome comparison feature where you can see last month's stats against the current month's in the graph - though in this instance it's kind of a mixed blessing as it really highlights our most recent drop in activity. It wasn't unexpected as we've been repeating this cycle for months, but it's never any less disheartening and seems to be a little worse each time it hits. - An average of 18.7 people visited the site every day, down from last month's 21.
- 17 new threads were created over August, seeing a second month of continued decline with 13 fewer threads being created than in July.
- 121 posts were made, which is 42 less more than last month. Apparently the answer to everything except how to get people active again... An average of 3.9 posts appeared each day with the highest number being 23 on the 26th, and no posts at all appearing on the 9th, 13th, 14th, and 18th.

I wasn't entirely happy with the way stats were presented before but didn't have the time to update the format until now, so apologies for the delay if anyone missed seeing the info. Now that I have a structure I'm pleased with and the template done it shouldn't take me nearly as long to compile information, and hopefully everyone will like the new way they're presented.
Those of you who run your own website will probably recognize the styling from Google's Analytics, but I've made some changes and additions that I hope will make it easier to read such as arrow indicators for top stats/country placement and flags on region stats. I'm going to temporarily stop posting the yearly data chart as Analytics records only goes back to June, and I'm also holding back on IRC info as hourly data isn't that useful - Lexy's looking into a way of tracking how many lines/words are posted every day, so with any luck I'll be able to put together a nice chart soon showing how active the channel is.
Anyway, July was an interesting month as the Analytics stats looked great on the surface, though the high number of hits were almost entirely the doing of a few random images in the gallery that had somehow got high Google rankings and masked the fact that general activity on the forum was actually significantly down. We somehow managed to lose the momentum built up over the April/May/June period and returned to the numbers we had at the start of the year - I've removed the pictures causing the influx of traffic (cat kicking dog and epic lesbian boobs) so we should get a much more accurate reading in August. - An average of 21 people visited the site every day, slightly up from last month's 20.
- 28 new threads were created over July, 15 down from June.
- 163 posts were made, which is a staggering 333 less more than last month's 496. An average of 5.2 posts appeared each day with the highest number being 20 on the 4th, and no posts at all appearing on the 11th, 25th, 30th and 31st.
